Zastosowanie formuły Liebmanna do opracowywania wyników badań elastooptycznych

The possibilities of a using of the difference expressions of Liebmann's type in the evaluation of the results of photoelastic investigations are discussed. The following techniques are considered: a) interpolation of the results obtained by experimental point methods, b) extrapolation of the results – but only in a limited region, of the order the difference mesh size, c) verification and improvement of accuracy of the measured values of a sum of normal stresses. The examples of application of these possibilities to plane and axially symmetric problems of elasticity are given.
