Charakterystyka stabilności przepływu, ze zmiennym profilem prędkości, płynu o skończonym przewodnictwie elektrycznym w polu magnetycznym

The problem of stability of dissipative shear-flow of a fluid with finite electrical conductivity is investigated in the presence of applied uniform magnetic field. Starting from the magneto hydrodynamic equations, the condition for the real part of the complex phase velocity of instability modes is obtained. The analysis is also carried for the case of weak magnetic field and very high electrical conductivity. In such a case the sufficient condition for stability has been formulated.
