Zastosowanie wielomianów Hermite'a do wyznaczania macierzy sztywności elementu tarczy w metodzie elementów skończonych

Krzysztof Dems
The finite element method is based on replacing the continuum by a discrete model composed of elements connected in a finite number of nodes. The method consists in determining the so-called ''stiffness matrix'' which serves to express the generalized internal forces in nodes of the element as linear functions of the nodes displacement. The present paper applies Hermite's polynomials for determining the stiffness matrix of the element subjected to plane stress. The flow diagram for preparing the computation programme of the stiffnest matrix by means of a digital computer has also been given.
