The solution of the problem of thin circular plate motion has been presented. The plate is loaded by uniformly distributed pressure pulse. The middle point deflections due to the loading are of the range of some tens of plate thicknees. The experimental verification of theoretical calculations lias been presented. The way of application of obtained results in the mechanical gauges for pressure measuring design has been discussed.
