Przegląd prac nad optymalnym kształtowaniem konstrukcji w warunkach pełzania

Michał Życzkowski

Typical problems and features of optimal design of structures in creep conditions are discussed; this branch of optimal design was initiated by four papers published in 1967-8. Subsequently, the results obtained in optimization of individual structural elements are reviewed, namely: (4) bars and beams, (5) columns, bars subject to creep buckling, (6) bar systems, (7) disks and plates, (8) shells, cylinders, pipelines, (9) problems of optimization under relaxation constraints, (10) problems of optimal design of viscoplastic structures, (11) other problems of optimization in creep conditions. Specific features of the problems discussed are summarized in final remarks as follows: (1) existence of the factor of time, (2) nonlinearity of equations of state, (3) great variety of optimization constraints, (4) new types of constraints, e.g related to stress relaxation, (5) additional features when optimizing viscoplastic structures.
