Tensor tarcia Coulomba

The paper presents a definition of a friction tensor. If that tensor is composed with a versor of a slip speed vector, then vector will be obtained which is reverse to the vector of friction force on the contact surface of solid bodies. The properties of the friction tensor and its particular cases are given. The presented model is compared with the model of Huber [9]. An examplary calculation of a motion of a point on a rough surface with exciting force either constant or position – dependent was made.
