Termodyfuzja w ciele stałym
The paper of a problem-review character presents the assumptions, relations and basic equations of thermodiffusion in solids as approached by J. S. PodstrigaC. Thermodynamic foundations and certain thermodynamic inequalities are discussed. The complicated system of thermodiffusion equations describing the field of displacements and chemical potential of the body are reduced to wave equations of a comparatively simple form owing to the introduction of elastic potentials and a Galerkin-type representation.
