Zastosowanie różnic skończonych do tworzenia macierzy sztywności w metodzie elementów skończonych na przykładzie zginanej płyty

The present paper deals with the application of finite-difference method to the determination of the stiffness matrix of element, exemplified by the plate bending. The displacements of nodes in the normal direction to the undeformed surface of the plate are the only degrees of freedom. The proper formulae have been derived and the algorithm of the determination of the stiffness matrix has also been presented. The paper is illustrated by the numerical examples.
