Wybrane osiowo-symetryczne zagadnienia obróbki plastycznej metali

In the paper theoretical and experimental analysis is given for two problems of practical importance, namely the identation of two opposite punches into a disc and the ring compression. Theoretical analysis is developed using two or three different methods. Specific pressure and deformation mode of the plastic process are found. The analysis is based on the model of rigid-perfectly plastic body and the associated flow rule. In the experiments flow patterns for lead specimens were investigated and compared with the theory. In the paper it is shown that the characteristics method is sufficiently accurate for the evaluation of specific pressure and deformation modes of the specimen and it may be applied for the analysis of working processes of metals.
