O pewnym przypadku analizy koncentracji naprężeń metodą elastooptyczną

In the paper is described a case of model testing of a structural element designed to be made of steel. This element constitutes the fundamental part of a technological device of the scheme of a beam weakened by a regular row of holes. By means of the photo-elastic method the components of the plane state of stress are analyzed in the cross-section passing through the concentration zone. The stress concentration is produced by the pressure of the bolt head (transmitting the force of the order of 1.2E06 kG) exerted on the edge of the hole. The results obtained allow for the estimation of the quality of the structural design.
